UNITED WE RUN – 16 APRIL 2022

Overwhelming energy, scintillating colours of joy , music and food , “what a colourful event to bring in the community together” and its a sense of pride and identity for VCARE to witness and participate in UNITED WE RUN event on 16 th April 2022 presented by SOUTHLAKE FOUNDATION

On this occasion, Samraat Jangam , Youth President for VCARE Foundation spoke about how such community events play a major role In strengthening the bonds between each of us,

fostering natural sense of accomplishment. Samraat addressed on how VCARE supported community events inspiring Volunteerism to harness with human values, bringing in youth together to inspire positive change and being integral part of support program of few organisations.

We Care would like to thank all for allowing opportunities to serve the Community at large. We are happy to have served the first responders, physically and mentally challenged, the food banks etc.

While we could have done much, the Pandemic restricted reaching out more. We hope to come back next year and be able to help more!

WeCare organizes a wide range of events, all of which are aimed at lending help to those that need it the most. These include fundraisers, visiting churches/children’s homes/orphanages and many more kinds of charitable initiatives.

Grace Grapevine Volunteer Day

Young volunteers from DFW metroplex came forward on Nov 16, 2019 in Helping out at GRACE Grapevine Donation station.At a tender age when kids like to play, these kids have taken up a big task to change the world!Although young at age, they are proving that they have BIG hearts! WeCARE is an organization floated by young citizens of America who want to change the world by making a positive impact. Among many initiatives undertaken the youngsters reached out to Grace Church in Grapevine and offered help for the holiday season. Looking at their enthusiasm the representatives at the Church offered to seek their help. In no time these kids pulled over 30 members and helped in various forms at the Church. These included arranging clothes, placing toys, segregating electronics and much more.The representatives felt it was an absolute bliss to have the young citizens offer their help which otherwise would delay or deprive these holiday donations to the not so fortunate families. They honored these kids with token of gratitude for the selfless service done at the Grace Church and requested them to visit the Church regularly.The youngsters gladly agreed to come at a future date and promised to continue their acts of service!Among the ones who served at the Church wereSamraat Jangam, Yag Tripuram, Moksh Police, Shiv Police, Bhaavan Kolla, Avighna Boodidha, Amogh Boodidha, Bhanu Gouru, Abhiram Gouru, Dhanya Vuppaladadium, Karthi Vuppaladadium, Raana Yarlagadda, Aadhya Jonnalagadda, Anjali Ghanta, Vishwak Reddy Asha, Bhavdeep Naag Tummapala, Aniketh Naag Tummapala, Ritva Chandar, Siddharth Eleswarapu and few others.So the next time you meet any of these young citizens, please don’t forget to compliment them for their selfless acts of service!The mission of WeCARE is to make kids and youth responsible global citizens through volunteering for charitable organizations!

 

We Care volunteers serving food for the Frisco Fire Station No. 5

There is no doubt that the First Responders and the Armed Services make this country a safe place to live!

Among them the Fire Fighters have a special place as they risk their lives for keeping us safe!

The WeCARE kids and youngsters who are making in roads undertaking community service in Dallas/Fort-Worth undertook another service, this time serving food for the Frisco Fire Station No. 5.

The staff at Station 5 were at awe seeing kids and youngsters serve them food this Holiday season. The staff looked at the passionate kids serving them food and thanked each and every member of WeCARE.

Later the personnel took the kids and members of WeCARE to a tour at the facility. The Frisco FD explained the importance on how to keep the houses safe this holiday season and other important aspects in general. The kids were allowed to get on a Fire truck and were shown a mock run of how the Fire Service personnel would react to a 911 phone call.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the information provided to them and thanked the Frisco Fire Station personnel for allowing them at the station.

Kids were happy to be part of this great Imitative during the Holiday season.
